The agreement

By creating an account or using Parsel, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you sign up for a company, that company (“you”). If you have a signed order form with us, it takes priority where it differs.

Accounts

You’re responsible for the people you invite, for keeping sign-in details safe and for activity in your workspace. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.

Plans and billing

  • Free: up to 50 documents a month, at no cost.
  • Team: $49 a month for up to 1,000 documents, billed monthly in advance.
  • Custom: priced in an order form for higher volumes or specific needs.

A document is one unique invoice, receipt or bill, however many pages it has. Reprocessing the same document doesn’t count again. Plans renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the paid month. Fees don’t include taxes, which are added where required.

Your data

IN PLAIN LANGUAGEYou own your documents and your books. We only use them to run Parsel for you.

You keep all rights to the documents and data you send (“customer data”). You give us permission to process it only to provide and support Parsel. We don’t use customer data to train shared models. Our privacy policy and DPA explain how we protect it.

Review before posting

Parsel suggests fields, categories and accounts, and flags anything it isn’t sure about. You approve each record before it syncs. You remain responsible for your books, tax filings and financial decisions. Parsel isn’t accounting, tax or legal advice.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Parsel to break the law, to process documents you have no right to process, to probe or disrupt our systems, or to resell the service without our written agreement. Our acceptable use policy has the details.

Third-party services

QuickBooks Online, Xero and NetSuite are products of their respective owners. Your use of them is governed by their terms. Parsel isn’t responsible for changes or outages on their side, though we’ll work to keep syncs running smoothly.

Warranties and liability

We provide Parsel with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, Parsel is provided “as is”. Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in that period.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously breached. After closure you can export your data for 30 days, then it’s deleted as described in our privacy policy.

General terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of material changes. Questions? Contact us.
