Why this policy exists
Parsel handles invoices, receipts and bills for many businesses. A few simple rules protect their data and keep the service reliable for everyone.
Documents you send
Send only documents that you or your company have the right to process, such as bills from your vendors and receipts from your team’s spending. If a document contains other people’s personal details, make sure you have a lawful reason to process them.
What isn’t allowed
- Using Parsel to create, alter or pass off false invoices, receipts or financial records.
- Uploading malware, or files built to exploit the reader.
- Probing, scanning or load-testing Parsel without our written permission.
- Getting around plan limits, for example by splitting one workspace into many free ones.
- Reselling or white-labelling Parsel without an agreement with us.
- Using Parsel in a way that breaks the law, including tax and anti-money-laundering rules.
Fair use of limits
Plan limits count unique documents each month: 50 on Free and 1,000 on Team. If you regularly go over, we’ll reach out about a Custom plan before anything changes. We won’t stop reading your documents mid-month without telling you first.
Security research
IN PLAIN LANGUAGEFound a vulnerability? Tell us first, and we’ll work with you in good faith.
Please report security issues through our contact form and give us reasonable time to fix them before sharing details. Don’t access other customers’ data, and stop testing as soon as you find something sensitive.
Enforcement
If we see a breach of this policy, we may contact you, limit the activity or, for serious cases, suspend the workspace. Where we can, we’ll explain why and give you a chance to fix it. Questions? Contact us.
